There is a wanglutai in the west of Qianyang county, and the media is honored as the first one of respecting teachers and valuing education in China. According to historical materials, Yan Qihe, one of the seventy-two disciples of Confucius, was born at the foot of Yanjia Mountain in Qianyang County. In the 66th year of his life, he went to Lu for three times and learned from Confucius, which lasted for 17 years. He returned to qindi after learning, and set up an altar to teach students in peijiatai in the west of Qianyang County today, so as to spread Confucianism and culture wholeheartedly. During the period of teaching, because I missed my teacher, I built a platform with soil and overlooked the State of Lu. After more than ten years, I formed a platform with a height of about and a base diameter of more than, which was called Yan Qi and Wang Lu Tai in history. Yan Qi and set up an altar to teach students, creating a precedent for the civilian education in Qin; Building a platform to look at Lu, you Shu’s high standard of respecting teachers and valuing education is not big and graceful, and the scenery is not surprising but profound. Because of advocating the profession of teacher, every year before Teacher’s Day, I would go to Lutai to pay a visit to Yan Youhe, a swordsman who was called the model of respecting teachers and valuing education in history. When I climbed to look at Lu Tai again before Teacher’s Day, it triggered a series of thoughts. The important point was what was the real enlightenment that Wang Lu Tai brought to later generations? With this kind of thinking, standing on looking at Lu Tai, I figured out a relatively clear and inspiring answer. That is Yan Qihe’s spirit of respecting teachers, valuing education and inheriting civilization. This spirit contains the motive power of revitalizing the Chinese nation. The reason why teachers are respected and respected is that what matters is teachers who can preach, teach and dispel doubts. Ancient Yanqi is a model of respecting teachers. Third, I went to Lu State. Under the guidance of Mr. Kong, I asked Zhou for rites, traveled together to view the beauty, and was proficient in six arts. More than 2500 years ago, Qin and Lu were so far away, how harsh and difficult the environment and transportation should be. But in order to pursue knowledge and civilization, this student in Qin resolutely left his homeland and his wife and children, and embarked on a journey of nearly four thousand miles. How admirable his spirit was. During his study in Lu State, he experienced such major events as consulting Lao Zi, escaping Zhao Gong, Zhong Ni in distress and being kidnapped. But all these didn’t change Yan Qi and his admiration for Confucius, but made his feelings for teachers grow day by day. From this, it is not difficult to see that his respect for teachers is not only the reverence for a person himself, but also the reverence for the knowledge accumulated by predecessors and the reverence for human cultural heritage. Reading the stories of Yan Qi and respecting teachers, we can see the reality that teachers are insulted, beaten, scolded and killed reported by media in China nowadays. We blush for today’s disgracing trip to teachers, and feel embarrassment to the former. The author believes that if the future and hope of China lies in education, then the hope of education will form the atmosphere of respecting teachers in the whole society, which is one of the thoughts we think when we look at Lu Tai again. The second thought is the reverence for Yan Qi and the spirit of emphasizing education. Yan Qi and he went to Lu Xuecheng to return to Qin, and set up an altar to teach students in PEI Jiatai, Qianyang County (now the village where Lutai is located). He didn’t stick to the educational idea that learning is better than official, but inherited the idea that teachers have no classes to teach and created the civilian education. The perfect unity of his words and deeds of emphasizing teaching was that the middle-aged Yan Qi resisted all opinions, refused to be an official and determined to engage in teaching. However, our current reality is that there are many slogans for emphasizing education and few practical measures for implementing emphasizing education. Especially in the western poverty-stricken areas, teachers’ salaries are still in arrears, dilapidated buildings in primary and secondary schools are frightening, there are no glass doors and windows in classrooms, and the phenomenon of dilapidated tables and stools still exists. There are also social problems such as primary school students, middle school students and college students who have to drop out of school in the face of poverty and education industrialization. If these problems are not solved one day, why should we emphasize education. If Chinese rural children can’t enjoy the same educational resources as urban children, how can we say that we have become a country of emphasizing education, a province of emphasizing education and a country of emphasizing education? Looking forward to the third enlightenment that Lu Tai brings to us, that is, Yan Qi and the spirit of inheriting civilization. Teaching and educating people is the fine tradition of Chinese nation, especially educating people is the ultimate evaluation of education. Looking at Lu Tai, we feel deeply that Yan Qi and the honored title as a model of teaching and educating people deserve well. The origin of Chinese civilization lies in the civilization of morality. All of Yan Qi’s disciples became the mainstay of the society, which was the result of his emphasis on educating people in teaching. However, a major disease in today’s society is the lack of morality of quite a few people. The concentrated expression is that some government officials lack credibility, the folks lack credibility, and the society lacks affinity. The root lies in the disorder and imperfection of the moral education system, even the decay of some aspects, and the Revenge shown by the society is the sharp rise of all kinds of illegal events and the widespread indifference of the society. This has to cause me to think deeply about how to educate people in teaching. I also have a deeper understanding of General Secretary Hu Jintao’s discussion on eight honors and eight disgraces.
